Ian Morgan, from Student to Entrepreneur
"I am Ian Morgan, an alumnus of the Dream Tree Academy after-school youth program, and I am incredibly grateful for the impact this program has had on my life. Dream Tree Academy taught me not just about fine arts and performance, but also about the essential entrepreneurial skills that have shaped my journey. Through hands-on experiences and guidance from passionate instructors, I learned how to express my creativity and translate it into a viable business model. The program ignited my passion for entrepreneurship and has been instrumental in helping me realize my dream of owning my own business.
Today, I proudly own SOLE BROS, a shoe store that not only highlights diverse styles but also represents the values I learned at Dream Tree — creativity, resilience, and the importance of community. I genuinely credit Dream Tree Academy with giving me the confidence and skills to pursue my aspirations. I can't recommend this program enough to any young person eager to explore their creative potential and entrepreneurial spirit!"

Phoebe Morgan, Dream Tree Alumna
"As an alumna of Dream Tree Academy's after-school youth program, I am deeply grateful for the entrepreneurial skills I gained through fine arts and performance. One memorable experience was a class at Pride Auto Care, where I learned invaluable lessons and even had the chance to work with the facility for a short time. This experience nurtured my creativity and prepared me for success in the workforce program. Today, I’m proud to be attending State Tech School, ready to embrace new opportunities and challenges."

Amaya Daniels, Future WashU Graduate
"Dream Tree Academy 573 provided me with the opportunity to fully immerse myself in experiential learning, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. They created a supportive community where I felt encouraged and empowered, instilling confidence in my ability to achieve my goals. I’m now in my final year at WashU, pursuing a BSBA in Finance with minors in the Business of Social Impact and Urban Studies, and I’m excited to share that I will be joining Microsoft for the next two years."
